WPC: The summertime world above

The Weekly Photo Challenge this week is Look Up. When I look up, here is my world above.

Every morning, I like to go outside and sit on our deck with a cup of coffee and a book. When I look up, I see a canopy of maple leaves above me. Often there are squirrels up there, chasing each other, or a robin on a branch.

In my office, I have two little windows, one of which is decorated with fans.

On the wall above me, I have a collection of paintings of Brazilian villages which I bought many years ago in Northeastern Brazil.

A couple of weeks ago, we took an electric boat trip on the Chicago River. Looking up, I saw skyscrapers.

We passed under an old, unused railway bridge, and I found it curious that there was a little house right on top of it.

However, the best thing I’ve seen looking up lately were the 4th of July fireworks!

Except the picture above, all the fireworks picture were taken in Lions Park in Elk Grove Village on July 4, 2016.

Happy summer!
