Recently we took a 2-hour electric boat ride on the Chicago River. It was a beautiful early summer day. For Cee’s Which Way Photo Challenge, I present: Bridges over the Chicago River.

Drawbridge

Decrepit little house on decrepit unused railway bridge (included because it was a bridge once traveled).

This bright red bridge reflects its color on the surface of the river. This bridge leads into a large park.

Madison Street LYRIC OPERA Bridge (Civic Opera House on far right). I have crossed this bridge many times myself!
Terrific bridges for this week’s which way challenge. Thanks so much for playing. 😀

What a fun boat trip, and that first bridge or is it two are brilliant. Industrial heritage at its best.
Thanks, Becky!

The drawbridge looks just like it could be in Buffalo, looks like you had a great day out
