I was surprised to see these two flowers growing in a neighbor’s yard. They must have just come up because I pass this house every couple of days.  Using my garden app, I found out that they are autumn crocuses (scientific name colchicium)! And indeed they do resemble crocuses that come up in early spring, only they are quite a bit larger.

This will be my last contribution and possibly my last post for a couple of weeks. We are going on another cruise, and I will not have access to all my files or possibly the Internet on a regular basis. But I will have a lot to post about when I return!! 🙂
