I find it amazing that even now, almost mid-October, there are still flowers blooming. There has been some unusually warm weather lately, so the summer has been prolonged. And I’m talking about in Maine and Nova Scotia! While wandering in a garden in Acadia National Park on October 1, I spotted these delicate purple flowers. I’ve seen them many times before, but don’t know what they are called. So for Cee’s Flower of the Day today, here are some October flowers.
