FOTD: Violas

A viola is bigger than a violin, and the viola flower is larger than a violet. Violas actually look like a cross between a violet and a pansy, which is what I thought they were at first. Here is The Swan by French composer Camille Saint-Seans, played on viola by Sonja Deichmann. This is the most beautiful (in my opinion) and well-known piece in his suite Carnival of the Animals.
