FOTD: Uvu – what??

My neighbor showed me these flowers that she has growing along the parkway on our street. She said they were called uvularias. I’d never heard of them, but looked them up on WikipediaUvularia is a genus of flowering plants in the family Colchicaceae, which is closely related to the lily family.
