Halloween just passed, and I had fun walking around the neighborhood looking at and photographing people’s Halloween decorations. For this week’s Norm’s Thursday Doors, here are some Des Plaines doors decorated for Halloween.
The door of this blue house doesn’t have much but I really like the spider web and the nasty-looking troll-angel on the porch!
Not Halloween-y exactly, but I like the green door and fall foliage!
I included this house because of the matching door, bush and tree.
Either someone really messed up on carving or these jack-o-lanterns have been attacked by squirrels! I don’t put out any decorations partly for this reason – the squirrels in my neighborhood are very bold!
My personal favorite of the door decorations
There was a row of jack-o-lanterns on the porch railing that the squirrels hadn’t gotten to. I thought it was clever to put the yellow “caution” tape on the door.
The door decoration at this house really was nothing special but I liked the skeleton family out front!
The Witch is in at this little house.
Boo to yoo too!
Finally, when I opened my door that evening, here were some of the cute trick-or-treaters I found!
I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween!
All of the above were taken with my Samsung Galaxy S7 which is the camera I usually carry around on my walks!
