We have just passed the season in which flowers and other growing things die, or perhaps hibernate until spring warmth returns. Yesterday I posted hydrangeas past their prime; today it’s my orchids which have withered and died. In spite of this, the plant seems to be healthy and I keep “feeding” it ice cubes every couple of days! Anyway, I think the wilted flowers have their own kind of beauty!
