We spent a week at a resort in northern Wisconsin this month, very near where our former cottage used to be (it was in our family for 50 years but we sold it 2 years ago). One way to get some exercise around there that requires no planning or driving is to walk along the side of the road. There are a lot of side roads one can take for variety. I like the bike trail, but didn’t get a chance to walk or bike on it this time.

Anyway, here are some wildflowers I saw alongside the road. I don’t know the names of the yellow ones, but maybe someone can identify them for me!
