Not a flower species you usually see, but I got this close-up shot of these small blue flowers at Chicago Botanic Gardens on May 17.
Its scientific name is Brunnera macrophylla. From a distance, it looks like this:

I have them in my garden since at least 10 years. They are a sort of forget-me-not but are perennial and arrive regularly every year. They tend to spread, but not in a negative way and I love them. They really make a nice bright blue background in spring.
